Parenting is actually the process of raising children as productive adults and providing them with cultural values, protection, and care in order to ensure their healthy and safe development into adulthood. Parenting is a healthy bond between you and your child. This bond nurtures the physical, social and emotional development of the child. It doesn’t mean that you have to control or regulate your child. A secure relationship with the child helps him to regulate emotions under stress and in any negative difficult situations. It Helps the child exhibit optimistic and confident social behaviors. Sharing some simple positive parenting tips that can help to build a strong relationship with a child-
1-Warm and loving interaction-
Be warm in your expression with your child. Make eye contact with them, smile at them, and encourage interaction. Try and see things from your child’s perspective and foster mutual respect.
2- Share expectations-
Parenting is not a set of strategies, so do not try to control your child with your expectations; instead talk to your children about what you expect of them and make sure they understand. They need your structure and guidance and not your control over them.
3-Acknowledge their feelings-
Acknowledge your child’s feelings, show them you understand, and reassure them that you are there to help them whenever they have.
4-Find a solution together
Be a good role model and show them how to behave through your own actions. Help your child to problem-solve, and when you help them to find a solution, then they learn how to deal with difficulties
5: Play together
Do not waste time in worrying and stressing. Make time to play with your child without any distractions every day. Play is very important to children’s development. Young children can develop many skills through the power of play. As well as it being fun and helping you develop your relationship with your child, it can help children’s language skills, emotions, creativity, and social skills.
